European Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute band
Get On Funk stands for an explosion of groove, energy and entertainment.
The band was born in Padua, Italy, in October 2006 from 4 people joined together by an addiction for funk music and an insane stage presence.
They represent the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS golden age, playing their most famous hits and rare songs as well, from the first album to the latest work "Return of the dream canteen".
The band was born as a tribute to the Red Hot Chili Peppers with the aim of reproposing faithfully and professionally the energy and the adrenaline that the Peppers have been transmitting for years. After several gigs in Veneto, Lombardy, Emilia Romagna, Tuscany, in 2012 they cross the Italian border by playing in Switzerland (Malvaglia) at an open air festival, where thousands of people attendend.
In 2011 they are invited to attend the “Tribute Band Show”, a tv Show on a Sky channel. The show consisted of a competition between tribute bands from all over Italy, which competed each other performing live at the Milan's Blueshouse, broadcasted on tv.
In 2012 they attended the 9th official RHCP fans meeting event, organized by Venicequeen (italian RHCP fanclub) as a tribute band, with great success and positive public criticism.
In recent years the band keeps on treading the best stages in the whole Italy, including gigs in Switzerland, Slovenia, Germany; bringing music, energy and entertainment. In 2021 they celebrate 15 years of live activity.
The vocal similarity of the singer Daniele (Anthony Kiedis lookalike) and the professionalism of the other musicians make it not to be missed every concert of the band, with a great stage and sound impact, thanks also to faithful instruments.
The setlist ranges from the debut album to the current hits, reproducing the characteristic sound of RHCP through the various hits and the rare songs for funk enthusiasts.
